Now the 2nd year has come to end it was decided it was best

to prepare ourselves for our 3rd year degree show by putting on

a L5 end of year show as a dummy run.

Our committee, existing of Kay, Myself, Gareth, Nat, Nicki, Simon, Hollie & Charlotte

took it upon ourselves to introduce a CMYK theme. with a section for each colour, as a different medium (print, film. 3-D and blurb books). The exhibition starts on Tuesday 1st June and runs until Friday the 4th, so if anyone reads this get down there and see some talented work!

YCN competition o'clock.

My entry was for the Ted Baker brief - basically to produce a window display for their winter/autumn collection, that captures their irreverent British humour with a cocky edge.

I produced 'Ted Baker Decision Maker" - a wheel of spontaneity that lands at random on an activity to carry out, most likely something edgy and daring (which are the exact characteristics of Ted Baker customers) that encourages you to just do something other than the norm, and have fun doing it!

The wallpaper above would be introduced in-store, with the wheel (ratio to human size 1:1) in the front of the store working on a motor that spins the device.

Blue Plaque Personalities Brief - I got John Hunter, Scottish surgeon and anatomist.

Asked to create a memorable piece of work which exemplifies my research of this legend, so I set myself the task of rejuvenating the branding of the 'hunterian museuem' (Royal College of Surgeons) as Hunter was innovative and always looked to break new ground. So I thought the experience should portray his character better, and enticing a younger croud to the museum, but still respecting the traditional style of the RCS. I then decided to create a new room called 'I AM HUNTER' which would be a very hands on and an exciting look into surgery and the anatomy, and the chance to become hunter for the day.

Booklet I created about the awareness of Dyslexia for a college project. (tippex, tea-stained exercise paper and black ink used to exemplify the frustration Dyslexic people may suffer when studying)
Sorry how illegible it appears, but still think visually it communicates and informs.
